Dr. Kim's Speaker Bio
Kimberly Battle Miller, MD, MS, MBA. Nearly 30 years in medical practice. Board-certified Palliative Care and Hospice Medical Director, Board-certified Pediatrician, Fellowship-trained Integrative Medicine Attending, Former Pediatric Critical Attending, Masters of Biochemistry, Masters in Business Administration.
Dr. Kim is a respected physician, author, speaker, and coach with a special interest in the Health and Wellness of women in leadership roles. She is the System Medical Director of Palliative Care and Hospice for a 10-hospital medical center in the Chicagoland area.
Her entrepreneurial endeavors include: Owner/Founder of Kimberly Battle-Miller, MD SC; Founder of Non-profit H.O.P.E. International (Helping Others By Providing Education); Owner/Founder of Dr. Kim Today Academy where the mission is to empower and save the lives of three categories of women: professional women in leadership roles seeking work-life balance, exhausted caregivers neglecting their own well-being, and aspiring women entrepreneurs struggling to start their businesses amidst life's challenges; and Dr. Battle is co-founder of United For Health 2020 LLC a medical education group established in response to the urgent need to disseminate information regarding COVID-19 to communities being disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. UFH2020 is a multi-state, multi-discipline, collaborative effort between a community faith leader, a pharmacist, and 2 physicians who offer community-based health education on current health matters, with a current emphasis on the extensive advantages of Vitamin D3 and serves as a trustworthy source for the latest information on COVID-19, RSV, and Influenza viruses, including information on the viruses themselves, testing procedures, and vaccines.
Dr. Battle is a 24-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and New Faith Baptist Church International (Matteson, IL).
Above all else, Dr. Battle is most aptly described as a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, cherished daughter, supportive sister, affectionate girlfriend, nurturing Auntie Kimmie, and a dedicated Deacon known as Dr. Kim.
